I see a problem if Phony Soprano gets "elected" and he goes overseas

and other countries require him to register as a sex offender.

Awkward.

On the domestic front maybe he will have to stay some distance from schools.

Now, there's a positive.

He won't have to register as a sex offender; he hasn't been *convicted* of a sex crime. Ocelot II May 2023 #1

That said, I wouldn't want him anywhere near school children for many reasons.

I noted this was a problem overseas, other countries might see this offense differently.

The US is the only English-speaking country that allows public access to its registries - all others limit access to law enforcement. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_offender_registry#:~:text=The%20United%20States%20is%20the,only%20accessible%20by%20law%20enforcement.

Don't know the difference between civil and criminal law, and seriously believe that someone can be forced onto a sex offender registry anywhere over a CIVIL proceeding.

Only people convicted of a sex CRIME go on that registry.

Not people who lose a CIVIL suit.

Sheesh, do the bloody maths.
