Obviously they don't want to remind anyone that there's a Shit Show going on elsewhere, so people stay on MSNBC. Though I'd guess that most of those watching MSNBC right now, are watching them for the reason of avoiding the Shit Show.

I imagine that they're going to cover it extensively, at 9 PM and/or 10 PM EST, once it concludes, but I for one am glad they haven't said Word 1 about it this hour.

I read a few threads here on DU about what's going on, but now I'm going to avoid them, and perhaps take a break from DU for at least a couple of hours. I really can't understand why anybody would want to give them the viewership they are obviously seeking. There is not 1 redeeming reason I could see to subject yourself to the LIES, SPIN and general OBNOXIOUSNESS of that POS.

1. It's actually kind of out of character for them.

Usually, it's nearly all-Trump-all-the-time because that's apparently what generates ratings.

I suspect, as you noted, that they'll cover it when he's done. That actually makes more sense than to try to do so while he's still ranting and raving.
