Were Kaufman and Trump ever seen in the same place at the same time? I'm really starting to wonder about this.

I’m waiting for him to peel off the skin suit and reveal himself as Slitheen. After all, they (repeatedly) try to destroy everything so they can make some profit from the wreckage.

Trump's personality and political stances on many issues (abortion, for one) changed overnight once he figured out that the best way to fleece the rubes was to run as a Republican.

Everything since has been an act. Unfortunately for us and the rest of the world, it's not a joke.

Because he started there, and was there most of his adult life.

He was a Democrat for only a few years in the early 2000s. He was with the Reform party idiots for a bit in the mid-late 90s.

Other than that, he was an r.

And even more so in the run-up to 2016.

Prior to that, he:

Advocated raising taxes on the wealthy significantly to eliminate the national debt and put the interest savings into the Social Security trust fund.
Supported prosecution of hate crimes.
Supported legalizing drugs and taxing them to fund drug education.
Supported banning soft money in politics.
Supported expanding background checks on guns.
Supported the development of universal health care (until Obama)
Was pro-choice (claims he changed his mind because of "stories"

He's always been an America-first, bigoted asshole and pro-corporation, but prior to running for president, he was much more of a moderate, especially on social issues.

He's a political opportunist. He saw which way the wind was blowing and that he could much better grift as a right-winger and then morphed his personality and beliefs accordingly.
