Is this really how we want our government to be ?

Something I have been thinking about for a while now. Is this how we want things to be? The Republicans are allied to the rich, Are terrorizing the population. All legislation is stopped by the Republicans.
I am talking about why do we even deal with a party like this? Can we just refuse to deal with them anymore and tell them to go away. Get another party that is not corrupt, Is not aligned with fascists. This situation is just terrible.
I don't want to just complain, I am wanting to hear actual ways that we could just send the republicans on their way. Turn our backs to them when they speak. Walk out of the room. Interrupt them when they repeat a lie. Have a weekly Democrat support gathering at local city hall supporting the local liberal policymakers? Can we help the dems in red states in ways that are not clear now.
I read that the majority of damage done by the tea party was done with just a hundred people. What if there were thousands of dems that committed to outdo the tea party but for good instead of evil? Thank you

I like you idea of the opposite message but somewhat TP tactics and would like to see something like that go on in my state but also all over the country. Even some blue states could use some strengthening.

Our politicians have become too isolated from the rest of us. Too busy to actually walk amongst the people who elect them. And increase the requirement for every year of service. Would probably discourage a lot of them from making it a career.

What we've discovered, is just how many "rules" aren't codified & have been left to tradition, precedent, or just the honor of the people in office to maintain them.

I am suggesting that we amp it up a notch without going outside of our comfort zone. Instead of sitting back and being nice while the right wing Bully's are pummeling us with gerrymandering and going for state and local elections. Instead we give them more obstacles than before. Also stand up immediately when they try to own the libs. Call out lies at the time they are made. That CNN Trump interview 'idk what it was called" should not have been allowed to happen!
I have participated in protests when Trump was in office. I gave many hundreds of dollars to the democratic causes. I also gave money to the food people when they were protesting in Seattle. My state is thoroughly blue, but its the red states that need the help.
The Tea party did it by making a fuss with the local representatives and the state legislatures. I wonder if you got 100 people from each state to start doing the same thing but for democratic causes. Thank you
