https://www.rawstory.com/rudy-giuliani-noelle-dunphy-lawsuit/In a complaint filed in New York state court on Monday, attorneys for Noelle Dunphy allege Giuliani offered her employment for a salary of $1 million a year in 2019. At the time, Giuliani was serving as an attorney for then-President Donald Trump. Several of Giuliani's businesses are also named as defendants in the suit.
The lawsuit says Giuliani told Dunphy that her employment must remain secret because he was going through an acrimonious divorce.
"Unfortunately, Giuliani's seemingly generous offers were a sham motivated by his secret desire to pursue a sexual relationship with Ms. Dunphyin total disregard for the restraints that should have protected her as his employee and client," attorneys for Dunphy state. "He made clear that satisfying his sexual demandswhich came virtually anytime, anywherewas an absolute requirement of her employment and of his legal representation."
Giuliani allegedly drank alcohol and "took Viagra constantly," the document states.
The lawsuit claims that some of Giuliani's demands for sex were captured on recordings. Other allegations involved Giuliani conspiring with Trump to sell pardons for $2 million each.
Dunphy is seeking at least $10 million in damages.

(25,048 posts)The article states that Giuliani allegedly repeatedly demanded sex. Did she have sex with him? The article kind of implies it.
Of course, its irrelevant and a hostile workplace is the least of the womans legitimate complaints. Still, the suggestion is hanging out there.

(12,243 posts)I know that being an abused person can play into getting into other abusive relationships. He wasn't paying her and I do believe she stuck around to get that $1 million dollar salary and she also thought she would get pro-bono work for her domestic abuse case but just ended up in another abusive relationship.
She wanted to go to the HR department but there wasn't one. She told a couple of friends but there is nothing about what they said to her. She asked friends and family for a place to stay when G. was trying to make her stay in a guest room in his apartment/hotel suite. She ended up staying with him because she felt pressured.
It seems the opportunity was a stronger pull than the abuse she endured.
He definitely abused his position, there is no doubt in that if the recordings show what she says it shows. I would expect her, at minimum, to get her backpay which is just under $2 mil. He paid her $12k in cash over two years - not sure how she paid rent because he said he would pay it but then didn't. There is some talk about moving her stuff to her parents so maybe she lived with them during this. It wasn't made clear though.
There was no non-disclosure agreement and he agreed she could record multiple times and nearly at all times. I'm not sure she couldn't record! He wanted a documentary made about him for Netflix.
He gave her his email password and uploaded all email to her computer. She overheard multiple conversations while he was on conference calls/zoom.
He said she reminded him of his daughter when they were having sex and asked if that was weird. He talks about being hot for Sen. Warren in a discombobulated way. The guy is drunk from morning to night. She gave him BJ's while he was on calls. It's a hot mess for sure.

On the other hand ... she was kind of dumb, the way she took his word for everything. All she had to do was look on Wikipedia and see that Giuliani's divorce (third one) was done in 2019. For someone who had a lot of online sense, she was mighty gullible.
