(625 posts)I think it's "disprove" as well. But I haven't read Durham's findings. Nonetheless, I doubt anyone, Durham or any sane person, would actually "approve" of any of those deeds listed in the tweet.

(1,044 posts)Disapprove means to indicate that something is wrong or not appropriate. Disprove means to prove that something didnt happen. Totally different meanings.
Your MW list does not disprove the above statements.
