who are fighting for everyone's freedoms against De Santis' anti-woke nightmare.

I would put Disney at the top of that list. Penguin Books' lawsuit against Escambia County for banning books is another important battle front. And, of course, Jenna Barbee who dared to show a Disney movie in her classroom, even after she received approval from all the parents. And afterwards, De Santis' people wanted to interview the kids, probably to intimidate and/or coach the kids to get one of them to say they were uncomfortable with the scene.

1. Love this idea for FL, because it sure feels like a war here.

I nominate the group Support Our Schools, Sarasota, for fighting the conservative rightwing takeover over of the school board here before most people were aware of the growing problem. They saw the push for corporate conservative privatization of public schools coming way down the road. And they recognized early that Moms for Liberty, the stormtroopers of the Christofascist nationalists, were a threat to freedom.
