Arizona construction manager slaps female electrician across the face

I've never seen anything like this. a boss slapping an employee. he strikes her hard!.

more of his cursing and abuse here: https://www.tiktok.com/@enamoradoalex_/video/7234343968471862570

he incident happened around 12:30 p.m. at a property under construction near Deer Valley Drive and 56th Street in north Phoenix, police said.

Hospelhorn, who owns a construction company in Scottsdale called BPH Construction LLP according to online records, was recorded screaming profanities at the workers on the job site.

'Leave! Get the f*** out of my building right now,' he screams as he jabs his finger at the person recording the video.

A woman over to the side quietly says 'no' and and enraged Hospelhorn reaches out and slaps her, yelling 'you f****** bitch.'

It is difficult to see how the woman reacts in the aftermath, as the camera focuses on Hospelhorn as he walks away.

In the original video posted on TikTok by Guadalupe Solano, a caption in Spanish translated to 'no one can treat you like this, even if they're the owner simply because the cabinet was scratched.'

Hospelhorn is then seen on the video yelling at the workers about scratches on the cabinets as he kneels down to inspect them.

and then came back and yelled abusively at her some more. And then some other subs.

Only wish people had always had the ability to record these incidents. This schmuck would’ve learned much earlier to control his behavior.

that it was her hand because in her place I sure would. More than bad enough. Consequences for his behaviors to all of them should go farther than a misdemeanor charge. I wouldn't hire his company.

in danger.

They are flipping the fuck out. I'm starting to wonder if white Trump guys really do need their own country. Perhaps we could ask the Chinese to engineer an island nation somewhere in the middle of the ocean and then somehow seal it off to minimize the damage to the rest of the planet.

People losing the plot over a mistake in a fast food order, being cut off in traffic, hell, people post here about how they flip others off simply for the other driver’s bumper sticker.

With this asshat, I’m guessing it’s not the first time he’s been abusive to those he considers subordinate to him.

Even if we ignore the fact that the victim of the abuse was a woman, it's still inexcusable.
Bosses must NEVER put their hands on an employee.
The only reason this guy still has a job is because he owns the company. He's not going to fire himself.
She needs to sue. Seems a slam dunk as this is clearly a hostile workplace.

I was hoping for a way the perpetrator alone would pay a price.

No half-assed "I'm so sorry, I don't know what came over me" apologies will be good enough. He needs to lose ownership of that company and go back to being a low-level construction worker, toiling in the blazing Arizona sun. Immediately.

No telling what other abuses he's perpetrated against the people who work for him. Or his family.

Phoenix Police dispel false rumors after man seen slapping worker in viral TikTok video

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- The Phoenix Police Department rejected rumors on Wednesday that no arrests were made after a viral TikTok video shows a man reportedly assaulting and berating employees at a job site in north Phoenix.

Investigators say 46-year-old Brent Hospelhorn was taken into custody for assault on Tuesday afternoon near Tatum Boulevard and Deer Valley Drive but later released. Police haven’t said what charges he may be facing.

On Wednesday, Phoenix Police responded to allegations that Hospelhorn wasn’t arrested at the time of the assault. “There is an inaccurate narrative spreading which claims a lack of action on our part as law enforcement. This narrative is FALSE,” the department said in a press release. “One of our officers responded to the call, took a report, and arrested the suspect for assault.”

Man caught on viral TikTok video slapping woman on Phoenix job site faces assault charge

A recent video showing a man slapping a woman and repeatedly insulting her spurred reactions on social media claiming a lack of response from Phoenix police, who arrested and later released the man following the recorded assault. Police identified the man as Brent Michael Hospelhorn, 46. Online records show Hospelhorn owns a construction company in Scottsdale called BPH Construction LLP.

The incident happened on Tuesday at about 12:30 p.m. at a property near Deer Valley Drive and 56th Street in north Phoenix, police said. The video shows Hospelhorn using coarse language and acting aggressively toward a woman who he says scratched some cabinets inside a property under construction.

Hospelhorn is seen in the video slapping the woman, belligerently ordering her to leave the building and threatening to fire her. The video showing the assault originally posted on TikTok by Guadalupe Solano has a text in Spanish that translates to "no one can treat you like this, even if they're the owner simply because the cabinet was scratched."

TikTok users reshared the video and demanded accountability from police, asking why they didn't arrest Hospelhorn. In a statement released Wednesday, Phoenix police said the claims from social media users were spreading an "inaccurate narrative" and that there was no lack of action from officers. Hospelhorn was detained for assault, cited instead of being arrested and then released on site after being "recommended for charges," the statement read.

I tell you, small business owners can be great, and they are really important to our economy, but the hero worship of small business owners creates monsters like this. Who the hell does he think he is?

Some small businesses are little kingdoms and the owner is a tyrant. And since it’s a small business, it slips under the radar and escapes scrutiny.

I'll never forget a garden center and landscaping company my wife worked for. Family run. They had a Christmas Party every year. And the patriarch of the family, Archie, would give a speech. It was the most condescending drivel you've ever heard. "I look around this room and see the workers and their families, and I am happy to know that the shoes they have on their feet are because of me, the roof over your heads is because I provide for you."

He was seriuos about this BS. A decent human being would look at the shoes on his own feet and the roof over his own head and say, "thank you, because of all of your hard work I can feed myself, and I have a decent life."

This is a man born on 3rd base if there ever was one. His parent s built the business and owned a bunch of farm land. The business was struggling and then the interstate was built right through that farmland, he sold that farmland at a premium and put it into his business which now provides for he, his wife, and their 2 children to all be rich. Miserable assholes, every one of them.

Now there are good small business owners, my wife is one. She pays her workers $25 an hour and works right next to them making the smae rate, and the premium over that they charge customers for goes to pay the businesses expenses and buy equipment. She's not trying to get rich, she's trying to have a sutainable business where the sucess is shared with her workers who are her best friends.
