When Biden recently spoke about racism at a commencement, there was at least one whole thread on Facebook about how he's a demon and the Bircher types are the ones keeping the republic from falling as opposed to trying to pull it all down around our knees and destroy democracy, as they so clearly are.

I've often pointed out that the opposite of woke is asleep, and the people who want us to be asleep are the billionaire parasites and Wall Street greed lizards. Because if we are asleep, we ostensibly won't notice that they continue to systematically pick our pockets.

These people who salivate at the word 'woke' are proverbial useful idiots. Unfortunately, they are very well armed and increasingly violent.

They will almost always stumble around, and in the end they'll just say "I'm anti-woke"...which means "I'm bigoted but I'm not dumb enough to come out and say I'm homophobic or racist or whatever"...sometimes it's kind of fun, sometimes it's kind of sad. An example (my mother is almost 98 so she isn't going to change)...Mom's church (Methodist) recently voted to leave the United Methodists because in her words they had gone woke.
