https://www.rawstory.com/trump-organization-foreign-finances-subpoeaned/

'The special counsel's investigation into former President Donald Trump's handling of classified documents has subpoenaed records from the Trump Organization, including foreign financial records from seven countries, The New York Times reported Monday.'

Looks like selling classified information to me. (my words).

Rolling Stone report: Trump boasted he had intel on Macron’s sex life

https://www.politico.eu/article/donald-trump-emmanuel-macron-rolling-stone-boasted-he-had-illicit-details-on-macrons-sex-life-report/

Former U.S. President Donald Trump for years bragged to close associates that he knew illicit details about French President Emmanuel Macron’s sex life, gleaned from “intelligence” briefings, Rolling Stone reported late Monday, citing “two people with knowledge of the matter.”

The issue has surged back into the spotlight in the wake of the FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, during which authorities seized sensitive documents, including one titled “info re: President of France.”

It’s unknown whether the document in question contained details about Macron’s personal life. Rolling Stone has also not confirmed whether the information seized regarding Macron was classified or sourced from U.S. intelligence. But the magazine said the “mere revelation of [the document’s] existence triggered a trans-Atlantic freakout.”

Breaking: Special Counsel Jack Smith, during his investigation into Trump, has subpoenaed the Trump Organization for records related to real estate licensing and development dealings in seven different countries since 2017.

The countries included on the list were:
- China
- Saudi Arabia
- Oman
- United Arab Emirates
- Kuwait
- Turkey
- France

Does Smith believe that Trump was utilizing classified material in order to profit with his businesses overseas?

The Special Prosecutor is seeing if TFG sold or was compensated for the records he took. This includes Saudi Arabia and the sketchy golf deal

Federal prosecutors overseeing the investigation into former President Donald J. Trump’s handling of classified documents have issued a subpoena for information about Mr. Trump’s business dealings in foreign countries since he took office, according to two people familiar with the matter.....

The subpoena — drafted by the office of the special counsel, Jack Smith — sought details on the Trump Organization’s real estate licensing and development dealings in seven countries: China, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, according to the people familiar with the matter. The subpoena sought the records for deals reached since 2017, when Mr. Trump was sworn in as president.....

This month, Mr. Trump said something similar during a televised town hall event on CNN, declaring that he knowingly took government records from the White House when he left. He further claimed that he was allowed to do so because he considered the documents to be his personal property.

“I took the documents; I’m allowed to,” Mr. Trump said during the town hall, asserting at one point that he had “the absolute right” to take control of government records under the Presidential Records Act. That law, enacted in 1978 after the Watergate scandal, gave control of presidential records to the government itself — not to individual presidents......

While establishing a motive for why Mr. Trump kept hold of certain documents could be helpful to Mr. Smith, it would not necessarily be required in proving that Mr. Trump willfully maintained possession of national defense secrets or that he obstructed the government’s repeated efforts to get the materials back. Those two potential crimes have long been at the heart of the government’s documents investigation.

They seem to have a strong case for obstruction already.

But an espionage charge would bring it full circle.

He's just a kid (17, still under age). I see no reason to think he would know anything about Trump's business dealings.

The two older Trump sons are a different story. They have been deeply involved with the family business for how long now? Eric and Jr. probably know a ton. Smith needs to grill those two.

He could have charged drumpf with possession months ago. If he’s now asking for foreign transactions then he already know what is in those transactions.

He can only be looking for money laundering for the sale of classified documents. Otherwise there is no reason to ask for such things.
