Mitch McConnell limping to the presser with Qevin today made me think he looks like death is just

a heartbeat away. But that’s me, always looking at the bright side.

As much as I don’t like McConnell, I doubt he wants to blow up the US economy to help Trump.

with a cretin and a political pipsqueak. I really rather doubt that McConnell wants to spend any time in the same room ... On the other hand - Mitch McConnell sold his soul to the party - a long, long time ago.

(and just desserts - as that party now metastasizes into - McCarthy and MTG)

DiFi is one of ‘em and the poster didn’t know who the other one was. But a second somebody is supposed to be in very bad health

Chuck Grassley’s no spring chicken and evidently hasn’t exactly in the best of health. But the presumed second seriously ailing Senator was not identified.

The post described the illnesses as more serious than is being described.

We are guessing on the second one.

It’s not like him. He’s ordinarily much more forceful a personality. But lately it seems like he’s just coasting along at minimal power.

Just speculation on my part, though.

I hear that Grassley of Iowa is not exactly at the top of his game, either. A friend of mine from Iowa said the Democratic Senate campaign was waiting for Grassley to have one of his ever-more-frequent "senior moments" on camera before the election last year, but he had plenty of them, they didn't get their wish to get any of them captured on a video that they felt they could use and not be in bad taste. Stupid Democrats, always trying to be civil about these things...........

One of the sitting senators who is quite ill is of course DF.
We know that.

Interesting about Grassley. Yes it could be him.

We have an aging US senate population and there should be transparency
about their health. We have a right to know if senators are capable of doing their jobs.

They are federal employees paid by the US taxpayer.

I just shake my head when people say it is none of our business if a US senator is too ill to do their job.

If US Senators don't want to answer questions they need to get the hell off the public gravy train.
Go find another job in private industry.
