(94,209 posts)Palin thinks there is a Department of Law at the White House. (There isnt.)

In a new interview with ABC News, Sarah Palin left the door open to running for national political office in the future. She said that the frivolous ethics violations that plagued her during her time in Alaska wouldnt be as much as a problem if she were in the White House because of the all-powerful Department of Law that the President has at his disposal:
I think on a national level, your department of law there in the White House would look at some of the things that weve been charged with and automatically throw them out.
For the record, no such agency exists at the national level. The state of Alaska does have a Department of Law, but it apparently wasnt able to keep Palin safe from some of the things [shes] been charged with.

(57,760 posts)but to have legitimacy, they need to be independent. DeSantis doesn't care about the rule of law, so he wants them to serve as a tool of a REPUBLICAN president. The hypocritical Republicans already scream bloody murder about so called bias in DOJ.

(4,002 posts)I read something online the other day about DeSatan talking about how he wants to re-constutionalize (or something) the power of the President. He claimed that's what he's done in Florida already. Dictator is right.
