MAGAs believed $99 "Trump Bucks" could be cashed for $10K, "Now I realize, well, that was stupid"

Trump Supporters Scammed By Novelty Items—‘Trump Bucks’—Advertised As Legal Tender

Several companies have been fooling supporters of former President Donald Trump by selling commemorative items they claimed could be used as legal tender, according to NBC News, as some Trump supporters said they spent thousands of dollars on the items in an effort to support a future presidential campaign.

Colorado-based companies Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future and USA Patriots have been advertising products with Trump's likeness, including black $10,000 “Trump Bucks”—sold for $99.99—they said could be redeemed as legal tender at most banks, including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo, though none responded to inquiries from NBC News.

The items—which include coins, checks and membership cards—are sold alongside “Trump Rebate Banking System” handbooks, which the companies claim are “official documents” that allow the items to be used.

Bank of America spokesperson Bill Halldin told NBC News there were reports of customers coming into the bank to exchange “Trump Bucks” for cash.

One Trump supporter claimed to spend $2,200 on the items before warning others on Twitter about the scam, while a woman from Alabama said she spent $1,500 on “Trump Bucks,” before a Bank of America employee told her she had been scammed.

Yet grandma and grandpa Q walked around doing pandemic no mask complaining about vaccinations and yes they both caught it twice I think in two years.

I can see why people with weak egos, who feel very insecure inside, would be drawn to belief systems in which shadowy figures (lizard people, the Devil, Democrats) are causing everything that goes wrong.

"It's all their fault." This explains the MAGA movement.

What excuse do the other 69 or so million have for voting for the biggest con man in modern times? I know our education system is failing a lot of people, but what has happened to plain common sense. Anyone with announce of it knows that average people cannot just print money (unless it’s counterfeit). The sad thing is that the Alabama woman, and others like her, who has been cheated by Trump will still vote for him if he’s the 2024 candidate. I will never understand their mindset.

If there is one thing Trump does NOT know, it’s finance!

Either “a fool and his money” or “there’s a sucker born every minute” applies here, and when we’re talking about Donald Trump’s moronic supporters it may be both. After all, we are talking about people who didn’t notice the maximum number of Trump’s NFTs you could buy every day is just shy of the dollar value that requires filing a transaction report with the feds.
