White House Tells Rep. Lauren Boebert: 'Antisemitism Isn't Conservative, It's Evil'

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) got a strong rebuke from the White House on Friday for a tweet she posted on Thursday that was critical of the president’s plan to combat hate, bias and violence against Jewish people.

After Joe Biden announced the first U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism, the Colorado congresswoman took to Twitter to suggest that any plan to target hate was actually a plan to target conservatives. She added, “Their tactics are straight out of the USSR’s playbook.”

-snip-

On Friday, White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates also criticized Boebert’s tweets in a statement to HuffPost.

“Congresswoman Boebert is mistaken; antisemitism is not ‘conservative’ ― it is evil,” Bates said. “President Biden is standing up for a bedrock American value that goes beyond politics and is embraced by liberals, conservatives and independents: That we are better than antisemitism and hate. Those vile forces fly in the face of what America represents.”

Bobert is such a stupid woman! I don't think "real" conservatives could have survived this long if they were all as ignorant as she is. How did that woman get elected to congress? Makes one wonder about the intelligence of some of her constituents.

They are too stupid and lazy to put themselves through the mental tasks of creating a valid platform to run on or even personally believe hating everyone different is so much easier for them, and it's easier to sell to their base.

In any case, she blurts out such idiot things that one could wonder if she was high, drunk or perhaps suffered a head injury. She says things that might imply that she is impaired in some way, because they really are that bad.

I remember when Ken Lay of Enron was speaking to hundreds of employees shortly after everything started to crash and burn. He took questions from the audience, some of which were written on cards. He got to one, which he read with a totally straight face, and it said "I would like to know if you are on crack. If so, that would explain a lot."

So that's why, when someone says something that is just plain dumbfounding, I just ask "Are you high?"

and then sometimes i say "because it seems like you might have some anger issues", or sometimes it's "abandonment issues" or "Daddy issues". Either way, i like to imply that they have problems and then walk away shaking my head.

After all, any policy to address hate and anti-Semitism wouldn't impact them if they weren't exactly that. Am I right? Boebert isn't mistaken. She's being honest. Now I'll be honest and go all USSR. I sometimes think things would be whole lot better if we COULD send her and her fellow fascists to a gulag. Just a thought. Not advocating actually doing that.

Nobody said a thing about conservatives. Biden said to fight hate and antisemitism, nothing more. If booboo connects those in her diseased little brain, that's on her.

As Ogden Nash said "golly, how the truth will out!" Since she has announced that those adjectives apply to her, let her own them.

Letting this trailer park trash into the house or senate is the result of "Rural" votes across America, not just here in Colorado.

Was it James Carville who said about some candidate, (maybe Sarah Palin?), is what you get for tieing a string around a five dollar bill and dragging it thru a poor southern trailer park.......

Somebody needs to tell Loony Lauren that many conservative (and Republican) American Jews support her Party. Or at least they used to, I'm not sure if they want any of their dough going to her now.

Also a lot of Religious Right/Evangelicals are crazy pro-Israel and pro-Netanyahu. Every time Loony Lauren opens her mouth, she's pissing off these people who should cut her off from their frequent donations.

Somebody shut her up and get her off the soapbox.
