9. I remember a job recruiter's observations years ago

I forget where I saw this but the message stayed with me. A job recruiter was working for Swiss Bank having formerly worked in the UN with refugees. He came to LA to recruit domestic employees for the bank and was startled that every American candidate he interviewed had the affect and body language of refugees he had interviewed in his old job. He didn't see the same anxiety when he interviewed Europeans.
