Calls bs every day because she was an r. I heard her say something yesterday 'when she was an active r'
Seems like even though some of the r's left the fold, they kept the ability to take the gloves off when they have a beef.
I don't turn msnbc on till 4. And I shut it off as soon as they start showing clips of criminal r's. I try to watch Lawrence every night. Miss TRMS.
I try to keep in mind that the content of most of the shows is opinion, although sometimes comments help me understand a news story better.

Michelle Wallace, Ari Melber (Jason Johnson is a superb sub), Joy Reid and Chris Hayes come on. Lawrence O'Donnell picks it up next after a letdown show — Rachel Maddow is so missed in that slot.

Detest the other two. Lately Andrea has turned me off so much I can not even take the sound of her voice. For that reason I have to leave political news 12-1. John mostly because he’s on QNN. Not to mention that I recently heard he was formerly married to Dana Bash. She’s just a younger version of Andrea. 🤮

6. What time zone? Katy Tur's okay at Noon, here. Nicolle Wallace is outstanding at 1:00, here.

It’s helpful if you let us know which programs you’re talking about, or give us a hint about your time zone. It is a very big country that way.

People complain a lot about “Joe & Mika,” but I think they’re on at some gawdawful time like 3:00 am — where I am — so I have never seen them.

It troubles me that your expectation is that every broadcaster and journalist will use your preferred designations — as you put it —
Neither media used the words fascism, cults, wannabe dictators, totalitarianism, gerrymandering, racism, insurrection, or any other words that accurately describe every political topic in the country, just one mind-numbing recital after the other.

None of this is appropriate for every news segment, nor for “every political topic in the country,” and I would be suspicious of a tv or radio station that made it so.

Cable tv is on 24/7 and there’s plenty to choose from. I recommend DVR. Pick and choose, record, and watch at your most convenient time. In my house we are not always available on Monday at 6:00 pm (Rachel M) nor at 1:00 pm every day (Nicolle) and they are must-watch for us. Andrea Mitchell, on the other hand, you couldn’t pay me to watch, and I don’t aggravate myself trying.

But yes, MSNBC is awful during the day. Andrea Mitchell and Jose Diaz are terrible.

9. Watching TV political channels in general is disappointing.

I’ve really cut back my time of watching those. I generally don’t flip it on unless I see breaking news being reported on DU. I do still DVR Lawrence’s show, who’s perspective is usually spot on. Other than him I’ve kind of tuned the rest of TV politics out altogether and get my political fix here. If I’m going to watch TV there are many things more interesting than political shows.
