Trump Admits Republicans Don't Even Know What 'Woke' Means

Trump Admits Republicans Don’t Even Know What ‘Woke’ Means (Rolling Stone)

During a Thursday campaign event in Iowa, former President Donald Trump admitted what we all know: Republicans have no idea what “woke” actually means.

“I don’t like the term ‘woke,'” Trump said while answering questions from the audience, “because I hear the term ‘woke woke woke’ — it’s just a term they use, half the people can’t define it, they don’t know what it is.”

...this was a shot at DeSantis who has been ridiculed for his noun, verb, "woke" approach.
Talk about being correct by accident!

hear, but they know what the word means. For example if I would say my son’s name my dog would immediately go pick up his bone and run to the door. If I would say “all gone” when I was eating he would growl because he knew that meant no more food was coming his way. Magats will react to the word “woke” with arrogance even though they don’t know what it means, they know they aren’t supposed to like it.

Woke is a “choose your own adventure” of hate. With no specific definition the bigots can apply it to anyone they want, and whoever that is, only rethugs can fix it!!!

same with Antifa, Deep State, CRT, Terror, Caravan, etc.

They always need some nefarious bogeyman to protect their idiot voters from. They won't do anything about guns of course because they make money from that. They would love to destroy public education and give more vouchers to private schools.

It's like the racist idiots telling me I'm stealing their jobs are the same racist idiots claiming I'm too overeducated with too many certifications (way too uppity). That's why I steal their jobs, not because I'm part of some nefarious multi-generational scheme starting from when my grandparents immigrated to America.

11. It happens a LOT with various words

Someone uses a word ("woke" is one of them, but there are others, like "socialist" ) and it just slides by because "everybody knows" what the speaker means. Reporters don't interrupt some shoutycracker politician blabbing on about "woke" because it would ruin the rhythm of the rant, and appear to be partisan or biased to ask what they mean by that word they keep using. The code words and dog whistles multiply until any meaning is totally obscured. The insiders know, but most of the voters have no idea.

Then, when these people get elected to office and start carrying out their little agendas, it's all on the voters for failing to appreciate what a racist little bigot they put there.

I think he's claiming that LIBERALS don't know what it means. But with classic Republican projection, he is indeed announcing that Republicans don't know what it means. Especially, of all Republicans, HIMSELF.
