We are a year and a half away from the 2024 election - and Trump is already sinking into madness. His legal problems have hardly begun, and the evidence against him is mounting on a daily basis.
His lawyers are abandoning him, as he clings to incompetent ass-kissers whose only legal skill is telling him what he wants to hear.
His 'Truth Social' posts are becoming increasingly deranged - his recent statements about "Magadonians" being a prime example of his delusion that he is somehow the head-of-state of some phantasmagorical kingdom that exists only in his own mind.
Trump is losing whatever grasp he ever had on reality - and don't think for a moment that the GOP, along with the "Magadonians", aren't noticing that fact.
Again, we are a year and a half away from the 2024 election. If the current Republican front-runner is already as deranged and delusional as he is right now, where do you think he'll be by November 2024?
The GOP has chosen to support a presidential candidate who could very well be a drooling, incoherent, obviously insane idiot by this time next year - if not sooner.
IMHO, I'm not liking their chances for regaining the White House anytime soon.

(1,753 posts)Trump sank into madness years ago, well before 2016 along with those who support, defend, and will vote for him.

(27,813 posts)Trump was not mad when he appealed to the disgruntled masses, and got their votes.
His madness started when he realized that his crimes were being exposed.

(21,304 posts)I always believed that there would come a time when Trump would have a nervous breakdown. His Narcissism will trigger it, he won't be in control, and people will start to desert him. His daddy is gone, Roy Cohn is gone, Jared and Ivanka are gone, his legal team is fighting with one another, no one left to bail him out. He has reached out to Saudi Arabia for help, and I'm sure he is reaching out to Putin. His unwashed Magats won't be able to save him. When Trump goes down, and I don't mean legally, it will not be a pretty sight, ketchup on the wall awaits.

I think more and more people are realizing that the Republican Party is nuts.

That party has gone as nuts as trump, their front runner.

I was curious how the magaloons have taken some of the recent developments, so I've taken a peek over in freeperland to see how they are reacting to some of the goings on. I gotta say, far more than I expected are already wanting anyone else but tfg ANNNND... They are not being mass banned.
I agree the repugs are fucked for 2024... For me, that means doubling down on working to see that comes true. Most of my efforts are going to Frisch to help get Boebert gone. Just trying to keep Colorado (and America) a bit more sane

(36,457 posts)Cuz it's gonna happen. It disgusts me that he'll have a state funeral. They'll overrun DC like they own it & the media will slobber all over the putrid affair. Still, I'd cheer if he croaked today.

(36,457 posts)What a fucking mess he is. Betting McConnell wakes every morning, saying, "I should have impeached that orange fucker."
And you should have, McConnell. ~insert flip-the-bird emoji here

(3,943 posts)My only hope is he can keep it together like this for another 17 months until the election. Ill enjoy sitting back watching him lead the GQP polling and the other Repukelicans trying to defeat him. The MAGAT base will keep following the dear leader and theyll eat themselves.
