No.

The apple does fall far from the tree in this case. His idiot son was recently allowed back on social media since he's running for president. He was banned before for promoting misinformation on vaccines.

And before all the pseudo lawyers point out these are private institutions who are making these decisions, that is not the argument. Censorship, legal or not, is detrimental to a free society

In NYC I took my dad's little transistor radio to bed w me so I could first thing in the morning when I woke for HS I could hear the results!

But, instead...
I woke up after 4am with the strangest stomach I ever had! Since I was up for the moment I figured I might as well see if the results were in. But the shooting had happened not long before! Was up the rest of the night.

Same thing happened the next night.... after 4am, strange stomach ache, flipped on radio and was just announcing his passing. No more sleep then, either.

Could there be a connection, to RFK, JFK and MLK deaths? It seems, they were all assassinated by a lone gunman. Just wondering.

that's generally considered conspiracy theory. It still seems to me like quite a coincidence that 3 liberal leaders were all assassinated within 5 years, two of them within a couple months of each other.

Apparently even Jackie Kennedy felt concerned by the coincidences. I remember reading that, shortly after Bobby's murder, Jackie said that if it was open season on Kennedys, she needed to protect her children. Then she went to Europe with them.

It was a time of great suspicion of government, but with good reason. J. Edgar Hoover was director of the FBI and had files on both Kennedys as well as on MLK. He threatened MLK and spoke of him as a "communist threat to America." He used his information gathering on the Kennedys to blackmail them.

There was also the FBI's COINTELPRO illegal interference in politics, civil rights, and people's exercise of their rights. Wikipedia does a better job of describing it than I could.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/COINTELPRO#:~:text=Overall%2C%20COINTELPRO%20encompassed%20disruption%20and,and%20religious%20groups%20(1968).

So for some of us, the possibility of a connection between those deaths does not seem that far fetched. But there is no proof of it.

And substantial evidence of conspiracy in all three. But many people are comfortable with the "lone nut" theory and the powers that controlled the investigations took advantage of that.

He said the secret service took the 35mm film out of his camera. He never got it back.

A few years ago I briefly met Boris Yaro, the L.A. Times photographer who won the Pulitzer Prize for his photo that day.

I remember handing out 45s with the Kingston Trio singing:

Robert Kennedy
Wait till November three
That's gonna be a great day!

When my family visited Washington, I got to shake his hand and I recall it was the hairiest hand I ever saw. He spent more time talking with my younger brother, who is developmentally disabled, and gave him a PT109 tie clip.

We got Nixon (by a tiny margin, which he cheated to get), then Ford, then a brief reprieve with Carter, then Reagan, and it's been mostly downhill ever since.
