Stand your ground laws seem to cost the lives of one group more than all others.

I don’t have statistics and I don’t have time to gather them. But every time this law makes news it’s usually because some black person has been a victim.

The Justice Department should be looking at this. The law should be banished and it should be taken all the way to the Supreme Court. Let SCOTUS have blood on their hands if they decide it’s OK to kill Black people.

6. Same with the castle doctrine laws

There is no duty to retreat in states that have such a law

7. From what I read some states require exhausting reasonable options

such as retreating.

However, I can even get behind castle doctrine which doesn’t seem to be discriminatory as opposed to SYG which does. Invading someone’s home can be threatening. Shooting to kill through closed doors when one is safe is insane.
