that would want him. Also if he would be put in jail he would incite his asshole followers to tear the country apart. But I do think that trump might get a lifetime house arrest situation.

violated it? Because you know that he cannot keep his mouth shut or obey instructions of any kind.

Would they threaten to put him in a cell with no communications capabilities? Tape his mouth shut and hold his hands together with zip ties?

I have no doubt he will be tried and convicted. The next part will be a bit tricky... If they put him in prison, it would have to be a completely separated section of whatever prison is chosen. Or... They might decided it is simpler to leave him locked up at Mar-A-Lago. I really have no idea which way it will go.

I do know I want it be prison.

...but given the potential risks of locking him up in a traditional penitentiary, I doubt any judge would be willing to incur the costs and problems that would go with that.

He may end up in some form of 'secure facility' related to mental health care, etc., and/or with a modified ankle-bracelet and supervised home detention requirement.

What *I* want to see is the complete confiscation of every asset he has to pay back every dime his grifting corrupt espionage has cost ME, the taxpayer.

Every. Fucking. Dime.

Him, his grifty family, all his offshore money laundering collaborators, etcetera. Take it all.

Would they have to serve time with him?

He will probably get home arrest, but he will make a mockery of it. He will use it to stir up divisions and more conspiracies. Totally impossible to enforce a gag order on him. He will communicate through surrogates, through sympathetic people on his SS detail, and through family.

There will need to be specifically spelled out rules, conditions, and serious consequences for ANY and EVERY person who aids him in violating ANY conditions of his confinement. Rule #1 - Trump, his spawn, and all of his circle of supporters (including in Congress) would be barred from EVER running for president. Trump should be barred from ALL offices, elected or appointed.

SS assigned to him would need to be carefully vetted and supervised by DOJ. Prior to confinement at MAL, the property would need to be thoroughly searched for weapons and escape routes, with guards posted at strategic places. Confiscate his passports. Impound his plane and all other vehicles that he might have. Forbid him from tracing in ANY vehicle. Only exceptions would be supervised trips (in handcuffs) go court appearances or a medical facility.

The necessary steps for effectively confining him and enforcing it are complex and I wonder if DOJ would take all the steps needed.

It would seem to be simpler and easier if he received the death penalty for seditious conspiracy or whatever the charge would be for sharing top secret documents with foreign countries or their agents, if that can be proven. But, he'd appeal that over and over, delaying and dragging it out.

I Iike his own words on the subject about people that he falsely accused of being treasonous. Just blindfold him and use a firing squad. No appeals. But the US does not do that.

every single one of them.

But he's gotten away with every crime he's committed thus far. Are there juries and prosecutors willing to stand up to him. I hope so, but I don't have a lot of hope that will be the case.

I figure the time line for his indictment, trial, every delay tactic possible, mistrial motions if found guilty and appeals is at least five years. At this point, I think he can delay a trial at least until after the election. If he wins that election, he takes control of the DOJ, and all the federal charges go away. Not sure what happens with state charges if he gets elected.

Caveat: If it can be proven he sold top secret documents to foreign interests and he's convicted for that ... maybe his SS protection could be waived, and in that case ... maybe he could actually go to prison.

One, he spends the rest of his life in court, and successfully manages to join Limbaugh and Zombie Herman Cain on another plane of existence before a jury renders a verdict and a judge orders him taken into custody. He leaves behind nothing but debt and a "brand" so toxic that his family changes names to something less offensive, like Merkin. Or Santorum.

The other, some kind of plea deal where he manages to throw his family, his lawyers, half his former administration, multiple slates of fake electors, and a dozen current and former members of Congress under the bus in exchange for house arrest and probation for life. He will still be in court until he dies, testifying against the lot of them

He needs to be in a prison where there are no means of communication other than for time restricted visits with plexy glass shields separating people. No way to pass notes, pat downs of all visitors, supervised at all times.

No special treatment or meals. No privacy as one is being monitored 24/7.

First, he has to actually be charged.

Second, he has to actually be found guilty.

Then we are going to hear all kinds of bullshit that he will need to be pardoned “for the good of the country” and so we “can heal and move forward”. Same shit that they said with Nixon.

I don’t feel that Trump and Nixon are equitable. What Trump has done is much worse in my opinion and he deserves justice just like any other American. No one should be above the law.

But it will not play out that way. If convicted, he will ultimately never serve a day in jail.
