That'll teach ya to start a light, non-controversial thread!

But, thanks, anyway. Kidding aside, I liked it!

20 minutes a day hunting up all the new numbers and just wanted to blow today's time playing.

I feel so peaceful and relieved and strong that I just can't bring myself to argue with anyone about anything!

Welcome to rec'ing

I was like that in 2008. Emotion could be clouding my memory, but I think I checked several times a day to see if I could find any new polls. Even after someone told me to stick with Nate Silver, I kept googling for polls. I did that during both the primaries and the election.

This time I was completely confident all along that Obama was winning, so I was content with whatever poll info came my way and did not google more than three times all year. I did check polls on a few other races, but nothing like I did with Obama in 2008.
