Actions we can take as we wait for justice to be served on TFG.
I don't know any of you personally but I am willing to bet none of us are megadonors with Joe and/or Kamala on speed dial, but I do suspect most of us can do SOMETHING to demonstrate our support for DOJ's efforts to hold TFG and the rest of America's enemies accountable for their actions. So, while I go through my nightly bout of insomnia, here are a few suggestions that might fit within your range of power. You can do one, all or simply pass this on. Feel free to add any additional ideas in the comments below.
1. Call your federal representative voice your support for DOJ. If you're stuck in a red state or district, ask them to reconsider their position. At the very least, they will know you are out there. (If you're going to call, please call your local Senate/House offices).
2. Send a letter to your editor of your local paper. Do NOT skip smaller publications as you are more likely to reach your neighbors. Even include weeklies like the Detroit Metro Times.
3. IF YOU CAN, donate $5, $10 or $20 to a local progressive candidate or organizations. There are many who can ise your help in 2023.
I think we will find this all more rewarding that yelling at the television or (my favorite) banging our heads on our desks. Good luck.
