Who's going to break it to Donald?

Criminal charges don't go away based on how many threats you make against judges, investigators, and/or their families.

"Everyone hates me" is not a viable legal defense.

Mocking the laws you are charged under does not alter those laws, nor their effect, in any way.

No one has ever been exonerated on the basis that someone else did something worse.

No trial is ever dismissed because there's a crowd outside demanding it.

This seems to be Donald's legal strategy - and he probably pats himself on the back every day for being brilliant enough to have thunk it up all by himself!

Delay, delay and delay...

If he wins in 2024, the TRUMP AG comes out and announces the DoJ formally apologizes to DJT, dropping all charges and paying his legal fees...

Investigations to open targeted at Jack Smith, Merrick Garland and Joe Biden.

He just needs a Judge and appellate Courts to give him some help.

I don't think anyone knows just how dangerous the world is in 2025 if Trump wins.

The defendent has limited intellectual abilities. He does things by route, the same way every time. As you note, this isn't what he is used to. Thus, although he is on the wrong route, he still views this as a fund-raising opportunity. For it is impossible for him to do otherwise, as that would require he focus on the reality of his situation.

But. IF he's allowed to leave, as soon as he leaves the courtroom, he'll slink away to score his drug, attention-all, for his addiction high, cursing Jack Smith and his wife.

On the other hand. He might be pre-trial detained, because that's what always happens to Espionage defendants.

That will definitely break him. We ourselves won't be frustrated by delaydelay cuz he'll want that Miami rocket docket treatment.

This year won't go well for dirty donnie.

That's been his approach his entire career, through, what 7,500 lawsuits against him?

Throw money & lawyers at it & make it go away by settling quietly with an NDA.

But now he can't do that. It's not a civil lawsuit, he's facing serious criminal charges. He's way out of his depth on this one.

And in this case it could pay off big.

If he can delay the trial until after the election he could possibly be president and it would all go away.
If he's not, another Republican could be president and would pardon him for everything.

Of course if a Republican doesn't win he's in deep shit but still, delaying and complicating procedures is his best bet.

"Everyone hates me" is not a viable legal defense.

It could be if you are between the ages of 4 thru 6 and being laughed at for having a nose booger etc..

Criminal charges don't go away based on how many threats you make against judges, investigators, and/or their families.

Tho it did work for Henry the 8th.
Actually some felonious charges, albeit which ended in convictions, did disappear for others due to the trump special pardon power for fellow nefarious cronies.

My pet peeve is trump's incessant juvenile ad hominem attacks, which appeal predominantly to guffawing mentally challenged magats.
I would like to see a poll of how many trump maga supporters currently think Bill Barr a gutless pig - my guess positive support over 50%.

Bill Barr = gutless pig; Selected past monikers: Broken Old Crow - mitch mcconnell , Crazy Nancy, Little Marco, Shifty Schiff + Pencil Neck, Pocahontas (E Warren), Low-IQ Maxine Waters, Psycho Joe (scarborough), Crooked Joe Biden, Boot-Edge-Edge (buttigieg).

Not to forget trump's transparent ruse of self exoneration: 'Me the jury finds Me the defendant NOT GUILTY. Me Honor says CASE DISMISSED!'

Lying and citing bogus facts doesn't get one very far in court cases. Even Rudy Giuliani got that.

The Executive Branch was a disaster with Trump & Bush. Legislative Branch has often been a polarized disaster since Newt Gingrich.
