(82,849 posts)Unless we tell them. The Republicans aren't going to remind voters that they don't support the troops or our military readiness or morale. Democrats? Euhhh, maybe a couple of them will bring it up. The media? Not a chance, but they will hit their favored narrative that it's Republicans who support a strong national defense in the face of all evidence to the contrary.
That leaves it to us to remind our fellow voters about Sen. Tuberville's grandstanding stunt.

(25,816 posts)Where do the kids go to school this year? I was raised on AF bases and moved every two years. You needed to be there
to set up your housing, on base or not, and to get registered in school, and get all of your belongings unpacked etc.
What asshole Tuberville is doing is very fucked up.
It usually took most of the summer to move and get set up in your new place.
And the hold up on promotions is costing these officers a chunk of change.

(25,577 posts)Something along the lines of one Republican senator is holding up all promotions for active military members right now. And none of the other Republican senators have tried to make him stop. Why do Republicans hate our soldiers, sailors and airman?
