re: the durham report, why doesn't biden just have garland do what barr did re: the mueller report?

like trump did, biden should just have his AG redact a bunch of stuff out of the durham report to make it look like it says what he wants it to say and then write a summary that says that the durham report proves that trump did collude with russia and then obstructed justice. biden can hold this report up and shake it in front of the press and say, see, everything happened just like we said and durham's report proves it. ok, let's move on.

as i understand it the report in its entirety does not absolve trump of jackshit, but i haven't followed it that closely. i think Biden's best move here is to stay above the fray, as the president should and always should.

The repubs were hoping it would uncover dirt on "the Biden Crime Family" so they could then impeach Joe, but it didn't.

utilized by the executive branch to settle scores, go after political enemies or squash reports. This is what Trump did . President Biden does not and should not do anything to validate and normalize this behavior.
It would be one more step towards becoming a banana republic.
