Jill Stein is Managing Cornel West's POTUS Bid (NOT The Onion)

You cannot make this shit up.

https://archive.ph/3HEhZ

Cornel West, the Ivy League academic and progressive activist mounting a third-party campaign for president, has chosen former Green Party candidate Jill Stein to help him challenge to President Joe Biden from the left.

Stein said Wednesday that she’s serving as the “interim coordinator” for the West campaign, a catch-all role that encompasses fundraising, communications and campaign management until West can build a more traditional campaign.

“I’m just thrilled and delighted to have such an eloquent and accomplished voice as Cornel West advancing our agenda,” she said. “His vision is really made for this moment. There are so many people who are hurting and are locked out and feel that they’ve been left out of our political system.”

I first read about it from this tweet:

I most certainly do not. I do not want to hand the R's (including Trump) the WH. And Cornell West lost me with his disgusting attacks on President Obama--not to mention his attacks on Biden. Jill Stein and her Russia promotion is all I'll mention about her. Russia apologists both of them, it would appear.

So, do tell. Why do you object to my calling them "clueless?"

what they are doing: they want to recreate what Stein and Putin did in 2016. Which was to help get Trump elected. They are both rotten spoilers.

I've barley paid attention to him over the years, had the impression he was just an attention seeking blowhard...but with this move, teaming up with a russian agent, tells me all I need to know about him now.

So, another "Daffy," post-intellectual attention seeker...prophetic black freedom fighter version?

The Green Party's actually on a bunch of ballots and made to seem relatively functional by the semi-moribund mess called the People's Party Movement. And Stein's "assisting" him, no doubt eager to hold onto a possibility whose name is actually known.

I've long had a notion that stewing in anti-Democratic venom and general resentment may have been what cooked West's once impressive intellectual white matter. When do we ever see those problems in an honest, intelligent person capable of, you know, actually achieving something worth doing?

Whatever. I'm wondering if what remains may actually be an appropriate fit among those who stumble into the Green Party, where what they're hoping to find is far less clear than the general hallucinations about vanquishing mainstream-left demons. His anti-Democratic animus should at least be somewhat animating.

and that was no joke since those were votes that most likely came from the Left.
American partisan politics is binary with the winner of virtually every election being either the Democratic or the Republican candidate. If you are on the Left and choose not to vote for the Democratic candidate you are only helping the Republican.
