even though it is Fox, which makes me automatically assume it's a lie.

I think the affair began earlier, too,
much earlier, but the date is important, legally.

reporting. Faux News doesn't answer that accusation but instead posts:

All of this raises the question: What was the CIA really doing in Benghazi in addition to searching for Qaddafi’s stash of more than 22,000 shoulder-held missiles that could bring down commercial airplanes, and who in the White House knew exactly what the CIA was up to?

6. The only sure thing is that we know Faux News will attempt to blame Obama.

I don't believe for a minute that Obama would cover up for Petraeus though. That would be quite a hard sell. Looks like they are going after whatever nefarious things the CIA was doing in Benghazi and hoping that Obama can be blamed for them.

and fairly disturbing.

I still don't understand why the right is angry about this--this seems to be the kind of thing they'd love.

And I also don't get what the controversy is where Obama should be impeached/resign.

10. Fox News is a rightwingnut site. Do you have a link to a real source?

Fox "Romney is going to win in a landslide" News is a rightwingnut site that is known for misinformation. It is NEVER cited here as a serious source of news.

people from learning about its clandestine anti-terrorism/detention operations. No wonder Romney ran away from this issue as soon as he started receiving classified briefings. The RWNJs who have been obsessively trying to turn Benghazi into a scandal have now succeeded in proving:

A) The Obama admin is capable of engaging in the same kind of shadowy, hard-ass anti-terrorism activities that right-wingers used to masturbate to during the Dubya years. So much for Obama's "apology tour"

B) The right wing, and particularly Faux, are now traitors for exposing vital anti-terrorism operations for pure, wild-eyed partisan gain. I guess it's only "vital national security" when a Republican does it
