11. No, the core of Wagner is primarily ex-Russian military personnel

The prisoners Wagner recruited to fight in the war were on 6 month contracts. If they survived the 6 months, they were granted amnesty and let loose on the Russian populace. They were used as human wave cannon fodder, primarily in the Bahkmut region. The prison recruiting program ended in early February so there won't be a lot of them left in the Wagner ranks.

On edit...that's just the Wagner group. There are a few others in Russia, but, aside from Kadyrov's group from Chechnya, I don't know how many or where they're currently operating. Wagner is the most well-known, best equipped, and highest skilled of the bunch. Also, being ex-military and willing to fight, they are likely to be a better fighting force than the conscripts Russia is using.

years. After that, it depends on if Prig sees a military, economic or propaganda need to take over Ukraine.
