What fantasy world does Mike Pence live in? Is he not aware of the Class Action Lawsuit by a number of women in Texas who nearly DIED when their pregnancies when terribly wrong and could not get care until it was nearly too late? Does Mike Pence truly believe women will flock to the Polls and vote in ALL Republicans who want a National Abortion Ban? If he believes that, I have ocean front property in Iowa for sale. Cheap too!Source: The Hill
Former Vice President Mike Pence said he believes pushing for greater abortion restrictions is a winning issue for the Republican Party, as he calls on other GOP presidential candidates to support a national 15-week ban.
Its so much more important than politics to me, but I also think its a winning issue. I did this week call on every other candidate for the Republican nomination to support a minimum standard of a 15-week ban on abortion at the national level, Pence said during an interview on Fox News Sunday that will air this weekend.
We must not rest, and we must not relent until we restore the sanctity of life to the center of American law in every state in this country, Pence said. Every Republican candidate for president should support a ban on abortion before 15 weeks as a minimum nationwide standard.

(2,355 posts)Their lineup is pretty pathetic but Pence may just be the best loser they've got. Here's hoping they keep up with the nonsense. By the time Nov 2024 rolls around the do nothing repugs will be in tatters (some would say they already are).
Agreed!!

(9,990 posts)After all, Pence's former boss TFG once proclaimed that we would eventually get very tired of so much "winning'. Let the GOP make merry and flaunt their many post-Roe debacles, promising much more in the process. The voters will eventually decide whether this is a "winning issue".
