Liberals never had a Gay or Trans "agenda"

Except to accept people for who they are, all deserving of Rights, and respect them for how they choose to refer to themselves.

The Right however, does has an anti-Gay and anti-Trans agenda. And part of that is to portray Liberals as promoting being Gay or Trans to children, instead of what they do, which is to accept diversity.

On the one hand, you have people being open to all others. On the other hand, you have a Party cynically using hate to paint the other Party with insulting lies and attack vulnerable children and adults.


I don't expect to ever see this in the Media as it really is, instead I expect the Media to keep repeated the GOP narrative representing the Dems as somehow having this nonexisting "Gay agenda".

The repug party has become the party of fascism/authoritarianism. They think they know what's best for everyone else. They act victimized by other people having the same liberties. It's a sick and twisted way to treat others and they don't care. Being so cult-washed has them beyond reasonable discussion. The only thing left for civilized society to do is push them back out to the fringes where they belong.

It wasn't a priority on the left, it wasn't even something generally considered a major topic. Suddenly the right used it as a political wedge issue, and very quickly it went from something people weren't comfortable with to basically something the left takes for granted as a meh, okay then why not.

You know seem the same attitude in the party on the anti-Transgender agenda of the right. It's really a thing most Democrats haven't thought about as it wasn't a party priority. (It's not an agenda rather than the basic all inclusive acceptance of individuals agenda). Pretty soon it's going to become a meh issue on the left.

Cancel culture and woke culture also not things on the left. Basically the whole Right Wing narrative of the left is make believe pushed by the media, but doesn't really inspire democratic voters. You don't see liberals losing their shit over beer or retail store displays. It's just not a thing.

9. The trouble is how people fail to see the "conservative" agenda in the labeling.

They've always been ahead of the Democrats in their use of this technique. They jump ahead exponentially every time the "live for the moment" media adopts key words coined in rightwing crowd study laboratories and hand fed to the talking heads. The political arena used to have Democrats, Republicans and third party. Since the 90's they've managed to label themselves as "conservatives" which left Democrats to be framed as "liberals". To the extent we've accepted these terms, we have undermined our own cause. Environmental science becomes radical, left wing TreeHugger propaganda. Spotlighting and eliminating long term injustice becomes pro-gay and pro-woke. Itself a commonsense recognition of racism in its simplest terms. What sells the junk which advertisers pawn onto hapless cell-phone zombies? The "outrage factor". So outrageous that even daily mass shootings become acceptable to society's benumbed consciousness.

Over the last 4 decades they've worked tirelessly to have us self-label, self-medicate and sleepwalk into adversity. They did so under the theory that a divided society, lacking homogeneity, is more susceptible to and easier to control through divisive propaganda. It's a dead-end theory. They could have thought for a moment about the Biblical adage, "he who sows the wind will reap the whirlwind". They are now losing control and have a "tiger by the tail", drunk on their own snake oil, having allowed an obvious maniac like Trump onto their cherished center stage, strutting under their banner and pillaging their bankroll.

If you don't have some sort of way of reliably establishing representatives for a given identity coalition, you open the door to every sort of wolf (or fool) in the fold to run amok. This totally prejudiced PSA from the 60s. Gays are out to get your sons. Grooming 101. Around 4:04 they “reveal” the guy us sick, a homosexual, who demands sex. It ends with the guy being arrested. The next guy kills the boy after friending him. After all gays are killers.

Society mostly figured it was BS and we moved on the getting gay marriage decades later. Things got better in many states. A lot of people ended up knowing someone gay and they saw we weren’t after anyone. We just wanted equal rights and the right to live in peace.

Now they’ve latched on to the “men in girls bathrooms” claims. They’ve been able to start the “save the children” stuff again. They’re not just claiming it’s the transgender either they’re trying to backslide to the 60s again by claiming it’s “all gays”. It’s going backwards.

These Christian fanatics want to take America back to the 50s. White neighborhoods, no integration, no gay rights, prayer in schools, etc etc etc. Yeah, those were the good old days, if you were a white Christian heterosexual.
