Greece is nearly in revolution after parliament passed another enormous "austerity" bill (while 2,000 some government leaders and workers were found on a list of people who have stashed money out of the country). The Spanish people surrounded their parliament this October and demanded it step down!

I will keep this updated and will add livestream links of coverage. Expect StopCartel, Occupy World New Now, and others to bring the story.

Bankers run the planet, not politicians. Obama could demand the return of all bank and wall street bailout monies and take a large chunk out of the so-called US debt instead of =ever= letting anyone discuss putting social programs on the table for cuts. "austerity" is socialized theft: banks create debt, run a country into the ground, then the government demands citizens eat the loss through social and infrastructure cuts. NO NO NO!

IS "austerity". It's here, now, just not under that name.

And by any name, it is socialization of theft, twice over. Steal our money once for wars and bailouts, then steal it again to "pay" for what the previous money should've gone to. A side-show shell game. Outright theft.

Do not forget that Bush toured the country claiming that Social Security was in "imminent danger" (same tagline they used for Iraq) and that we had to give it to Wall Street to keep it going. Now they're going to attempt to give it to Wall Street...again.

We need to be talking about why Democrats continue to validate Republican lies about the necessity for austerity.

We should not be budget slashing, and the ratios of cuts to revenue we are still hearing are unconscionable. Austerity is bad for economies and human beings.
