On Monday morning, Minnesota state Sen. Eric Lucero (R) posted a homophobic, religious and inaccurate rant on his Twitter account in what seems to be a response to June being LGBTQ Pride Month.

Our Creator hates PRIDE and each of us as the creation will be held to account for our choices, eventually.
The 7-color natural rainbow is a reminder of His promise to never again enact worldwide judgment by WATER. The next worldwide judgment will be by FIRE.

Pride has been used as a term to represent the LGBTQ community since 1969, when bisexual activist Brenda Howard organized the first LGBTQ Pride March in New York City in 1970. The event, the Christopher Street Liberation Day March, commemorated the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall riots, which kickstarted the modern LGBTQ rights movement. Since being a member of this community was socially unacceptable for centuries, the term is meant to emit a sense of pride in being who you are despite the long-lasting discrimination.
We have to come out into the open and stop being ashamed, said Gay Liberation Front founder Michael Brown in 1970 at one of the first Pride events. This march is an affirmation and declaration of our pride.
Pride gatherings and marches are as strong as they have ever been, much to the dismay of religious evangelicals like Lucero. These groups have been conflating the term pride with the biblical seven deadly sins of the same name to undermine the movements true meaning, which is self-acceptance. The biblical pride refers to arrogancy and self-imposed supremacy, sometimes above God.

Now what are you doing about the report that shows city police departments around the state are showing pretty extreme bias when it comes to 'law' enforcement? Anything? Hello...?

the original pride flag only had six colors. "God's rainbow" is the only TRUE rainbow, for them.
