(7,286 posts)I loved good writing even at an early age (I was into Woodhouse around age 10), and devoured it.
Some of the stuff she talked about was alien (e.g. "plats" of real estate), but enough was universal, and often hilarious, that it drew me in, and taught me a little about America.
