Right-wing upper-middle and upper-class women - many of whose husbands have hundreds of thousands or even millions stashed abroad, undeclared - began taking to banging pots and pans (known in Spanish as cacerolas) to protest supposed "scarcity" under progressive governments.
Some, of course, would have their maids do the banging.
she would be my first vote.
And like ours, they have Big Money and RW media behind them, always smelling blood and ready to pounce.
It's definitely the kind of politics Republicans have been trying to import into the U.S. - first through RW Cuban exiles; but then through Latin tactics in general (destabilization, violence, fraud, etc.).
But enough of that. Happy Fourth! 
At the time, they were protesting limits on dollar purchases enacted by the left-leaning Cristina Kirchner administration - a highly-unpopular move she was forced to take after fraudulent vulture-fund lawsuits cut the country off from global bond markets.
But they first became popular in Chile in the early 1970s - while the economy was being "made to scream" against then-President Salvador Allende.
Allende's overthrow - and everything that contributed (including the cacerolazos) - is still revered by Latin right-wingers, who view any progressive gov't as "another Allende" (or even 'another Castro').
Much of it, the result of paranoia fanned by the region's RW media - many of whom are at least as vicious as Fox.
Qué será.
They were, as I mentioned, mostly adopted by upper-middle class, right-wing voters against left-wing - or merely progressive - administrations.
The inference being that they are feeling "scarcity" due to left-wing policies - when these people often have small fortunes stashed abroad.
But enough of that. Happy Fourth!
These things make feel all that much more blessed to live here.
Moms for Liberty get tons of money from Julie Fancelli, the heiress to Publix when they were founded in Florida. They have close connections to many GOP figures and their wealthy donors. They're promoting DeSantis and Trump and others.

Can DeSantis get any more Botox in his forehead? If his forehead got punctured he would become an EPA
toxic waste site. "Botulism is one of the most potent toxins known to science."
I find them all really funny, and I chuckled through the whole list, but Book Burning Barbies is a personal favorite of mine. I'm an ex-librarian, and intellectual freedom is an issue that is particularly dear to my heart, so that is one of my favorites. It's narrower in scope than some of the other suggestions, so it may not be the best from that standpoint, but from a personal perspective it resonates really strongly with me.
