I had a very mild case of the measles when I was 7 years old. Almost exactly 7 years later, I had rubella, the "r" that is now prevented by the mmr (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine. I was one of millions, as there was a major rubella epidemic that year (1964). Rubella tends to be a very mild illness, but it can cause a myriad of birth defects, resulting in many lost pregnancies and many babies being born with major disabilities. That's another thing we'd have to look forward to if RFK Jr ever got his way. 
I've never had mumps, and if the antivaxxers don't get completely out of control, I probably never will. I worry about it a little, though, every time I read an article about people refusing to vaccinate their kids, and wonder if I should get the mmr just in case.
I really wish the earth would open up and swallow RFK Jr before he causes any more deaths.
