Being a Minnesota native I still subscribe to StarTribune online. Today I saw this article. Apparently MyPillow is closing a factory and auctioning equipment after sales plummeted $100m. You may hit a paywall at StarTribune but I’ll post the headline and some other links that should be free. Is this the end?

If so I feel sorry for his employees who are supporting families while working for this guy. His craziness will end up hurting a lot of people who are just trying to earn a living.

My local Ollie's had a bunch of My Pillow pillows, most of which have been sitting there for the good part of a year. Talk about junk. They're basically thin sacks full of chunks of foam latex. I invested in Casper pillows from Target a few years ago. They're awesome. Before that, I had another brand that I bought and owned for years. I always stayed at a particular resort in Warm Sands when I'd visit Palm Springs from Phoenix. Warm Sands is a neighborhood of gay resorts. They had the best pillows, so one stay I opened it up, wrote down the brand, them bought them online. It was such a great investment.

So, those were what; $40,000 jobs?
Not exactly the benevolent boss he was made out to be.
Also, the listed net worth for him online is literally impossible to be true. His debt:equity ration was 5, so the equity in the company was $25 million (he's not the only owner), and with nearly $20 million of debt service (annually) his share couldn't have been more than $10 million in the best year. Less to much less as we go back in time, and the company is only 14 years old.
Not the business titan he was made out to be.

I attended since a young child. Then my father after he retired took tickets at the Main Gate for years to help financially. They were good to him. I tried to go again in the 90's but after I did was pretty disappointed.

I'd never seen this so I laughed a lot. Then the part with Lindell at the White House, with a uniformed Marine opening a door for him, just made me sad. I consider Trump a disgrace. Knowing how his Dad got a doctor to claim he had bone spurs to keep him out of the war, yet he wanders around a golf course decades later, 100 pounds heavier, with no problem. Just pisses me off.
