2. Returning to the battlefield is a death sentence for that group.

They won’t have the armaments they need, so hopefully they have plenty of white flags for surrendering.

3. In case anyone's wondering, Dmitri has a good track record of being reliable.

Of course, the actual information he's translating may not be all it seems, but people like Girkin can be extraordinarily unguarded in what they convey, and this doesn't seem out of character.

As for Wagner, it's a business, as much as the Mafia, and there are easier pickings and more wealth to plunder in Africa than there are in Ukraine, so it wouldn't be a surprise if they want to conserve their resources for use there.

idea, since the Ukrainians have been so good to capitalize on Russian mistakes and Russian errors. Oh well, that's okay.
