No Labels may have chosen its candidate for a third party presidential bid: report

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is sparking speculation about a potential third-party 2024 run due to his planned headlining of an event in New Hampshire sponsored by the bipartisan group No Labels, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.

No Labels is an organization set up to explore launching a challenge on Trump outside the existing party lines. Democrats are worried No Labels's actions would hurt the chances of President Joe Biden rather than Trump.

Manchin will appear at a town hall alongside Utah's former GOP governor, Jon Huntsman, as No Labels eyes a potential “unity” ticket in 2024. As The Post points out, Manchin hasn't announced if he is seeking reelection next year for his Senate seat and has not ruled out an independent 2024 White House run.

Democrats fear that an Independent run from Manchin could help Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

"No Labels, fearing the possibility of a 2024 rematch between Biden and Trump, launched what they dubbed an 'insurance policy project' for 2024, which would offer a third-party candidate 'under the proper environmental conditions.' The ticket would likely feature a Democrat and a Republican in presidential and vice-presidential slots, the group has signaled," The Post's report stated. ......................

I don't have civil words to say about him, it's too hard.
