The kind of environmentalist RFK Jr claims to be.

Lets begin with his deep distrust of EPA, which rivals that of the Republicans who want to abolish it although the reasons are quite different. Heres what he has said about the agency: Ive spent 40 years litigating against the agencies, the regulatory agencies in the United States, so I can tell you that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is effectively run by the oil industry, the coal industry and the pesticide industry.
What about climate regulation? This, too, seems to be suspect in his eyes. Kennedy has said that climate issues and pollution issues are being exploited by, you know, the World Economic Forum and Bill Gates and all of these big, you know, mega-billionaires, the same way that Covid was exploited, to use it as an excuse to clamp down top-down totalitarian controls on society.

(118 posts)Under no circumstances would I ever ever vote for him for anything. And his vaccine nonsense has a body count. Hes a monster.
But the EPA part rings true, and on climate change, there is certainly an element of elites making rules for plebes involved.
Hes a lunatic who is generally left in his ideologies. Im going to agree with some things.
I hate myself.

(15,420 posts)I wouldn't be too upset with the basis of one of his many ramblings possibly being similar to one's own politics or opinions.
Pity, he sounded almost same back in the 2000's on Air America back in the day. Ego will always win out in the end with people who end up being celebrities; it's just a matter of what type of Ego they have - does it drive them into a selfish crazy town, or does it drive them to be better people?
I can take a guess as to where Jr. went.
