Funny - the Petraeus/Broadwell mess reminded me much more of the Hunter/Edwards mess
than anything else (notwithstanding the positions of those involved - pun intended, I guess) - the easily stroked ego and the one seeking - what? - access and power, I suppose. It seems to be such a part of human nature among the rich and powerful and egotistical. And I am not referring to any of the political ramifications/overtones....just the glaring imperfections/weaknesses of human beings.
