Rather than answer that point you chose a personal attack. Not unexpected but I'm fine and thanks for the advice, but I think it's you who needs to lighten up and defend your claim or perhaps admit that it is factually incorrect. I also think your claim about Carter is more fantasizing on your part. I have never read or heard that he made such a claim. Perhpas on this point you can back up your claim.

That's the number of people airlines move across the globe over the course of a year. 4.5 billion passengers, each with cameras, each with the ability to record any and all anomolies they could possibly see in the skies. Billions of little investigators circling the globe, flying over oceans and mouantains, and remote deserts. Able to see miles up and down on, and side to side on clear days. But we're still relying on some grainy unexplained dot that could be a speck of dirt on a window? If we were being visited, there would be clear film of it by now.

The vastness of the universe is something the human mind cannot grasp. Multiply that by the vastness of time, afterall, humanity has existed for but a blink of an eye in the context of the age of the universe. The chances of intelligent life traveling the cosmos at this point in time and finding us is so remote it's inconceivable. That civilization would have to not only have evlolved technology for thousands of years beyond or own, but they would have to exist now, and not a million, or 10 billion years ago, or any time between a million and 10 billion.

Deep Space travel, will almost certainly look little like how we imagine it looks today. The idea of boarding a space ship and arriving at a planet with life some years later is folly. Technology will have to evolve to a point where the laws of physics can be remade and the laws of the universe can be folded. So the very idea of space ships from other solar systems might not even be how deep space travel works.

In my opinion, based on probability coupled with the belief that "gods" are nonsense, the existence of intelligent life beyond our planet is almost certain. That does not mean that they have visited here. I also believe that if an intelligent species wanted to visit Earth without being detected, it would be easier than breaking our current understanding of the laws of physics.

For all practical purposes, there is a nearly infinite number of worlds capable of supporting some kind of life; the odds of only one chemical accident, that resulted in self-replicating "life," is just unimaginable.

I do believe that honest people have seen things that they don't understand, but Unidentified means what it says, nothing more or less.

They are still humans with imagination and preconceived notions of how the universe works. Intelligence or training have nothing to do with it. The proof, as far as I am concerned, is that there are very smart people who are also religious fanatics.

The recent whistleblower, David Grusch, came forward because of the whistleblower protection legislation congress passed last year. The Inspectors General for intelligence and DOD have labeled his claims as serious and credible. Several witnesses with firsthand evidence have come forward to confirm his allegations and others had already testified in closed door sessions with Congress, over the past two years, and presented evidence that according to several congressmen and senators is proof beyond a doubt of non-human intelligence visiting our planet. More legislation is in the works that will allow for further revelations to come forth and criminal liabilities for anyone concealing secret programs, or information regarding non-human technology from congress.

It is so typical and tiresome to read the same old tropes about millions of cameras and no good photos. It only takes some time searching legitimate sighting websites to know there are thousands of photos/videos taken every year, all around the globe, and many are of startling clarity. And no, I'm not listing them. Do your own research, or not.

Along with that, the pompous posturing of those claiming they know enough about the universe and FTL travel, which is not actually not a requirement, that makes travel over multiple light years impossible, is specious at best.. Any species that can engineer craft to approach a significant % of the speed of light can travel incredible distances if they wish to take the time. AI, artificially created androids etc, are impervious to the time limitations many suggest when discussing this topic.

Within eighteen months max I predict a partial disclosure by our government and others that they indeed have known the truth, or parts of it, regarding this phenomenon for over seventy years. FOIA requests have shown the intense interest, investigations and belief of the intelligence agencies and the military in the topic. The decades long use of ridicule, enabled by the media, of witnesses and intimidation, especially of commercial and military pilots, has been largely successful keeping public scrutiny under control. It remains to be seen once the genie is really out of the bottle, how much of the entire story will become open to the public. If indeed, the entire truth of the intentions, motives and extent of the "alien" beings is known by anyone on the planet.

There are other possibilities besides visitors from other planets. The existence of a secret civilization with technology beyond what we can comprehend could have existed on our planet for thousands of years without our knowledge, except for the encounters recorded throughout history. Our oceans and vast artic areas are virtually unexplored.

Other possibilities offered for the source of the "alien" craft and beings are extra-dimensional travel and time travel. These theories are certainly even more difficult to believe and comprehend, but our limited knowledge of time and space have changed with quantum theory and there is more to come.

Anyone who truly wishes to become informed on the extant evidence and what is coming very soon can spend some time and educate themselves to the reality. Otherwise you can continue to ridicule and pontificate up to the moment when you will be forced to accept the truth that has been covered up going on for many, many decades. For those curious, openminded individuals who have invested the time and resources to educate themselves about the phenomenon, it will be the ultimate " I told you so" moment in history.

And by the way, beyond any doubt, an alien species has already launched interplanetary probes. Man has rovers exploring Mars as you read these words..
