Inside a non-a/c vehicle, even with the windows open, it can get to 130 or more.
This is insanity!!!!!

(19,738 posts)to delivery folks. I put a sign on front door offering cold drinks since most times by the time I answer the doorbell they are halfway down the driveway. So far none have turned them down.

(5,391 posts)Its 92 here, with 68% humidity and Im standing next to 3 steam tables and across from 4 deep fryers, a grill, and an oven. No A/C.
We exist on electrolyte popsicles. No one has passed out yet this year but its only mid July. Yay!

(27,238 posts)His wife told us he drinks water with electrolytes to say hydrated and has comes home some nights and goes to bed. He has a/c in his van but its weak.

(58,785 posts)power grid, but extremely dangerous to many if it happened. A recent study focused on Phoenix said in a worst case half the population could end up in the ER (and thousands dead), but...
