He says Biden is "against the coal" and is going to cause them to lose a hundred thousand jobs.
Interestingly, that guy considers Manchin to be against coal. Which means all the propping up of a defunct industry Manchin has done is not good enough for him.

(5,340 posts)They want COAL. They want their children to toil in the pit same as Daddy and Pawpaw did. I'm honestly convinced if you offered an industry that paid 5x what mining did, for 4 hours a day of desk work, they'd turn it down. Damn Scots-Irish masochism.

(59,486 posts)kids to work 50K to 80K jobs, even if they don't require a college education and offer training. This film was posted yesterday and a poster quoted a former WV resident as saying that anyone with get up and go has got up and gone.
And don't miss the guy's statement: "If you start bringing windmills or gays in here, everyone'll be out of a job."
The blindness to anything but coal for industry is real, but it's also steeped in other blindnesses.

For me it will prove one thing: they refuse to change.
Years ago when I worked at Global Crossing we would say: Stay away from the square states and Appalachia. Throwing goid money away.
I believe we will be throwing good money away . . . I hope I'm proven wrong.
