In response to Kerch Bridge attack... The "grain deal is dead" and Odesa port in ruins.

https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russia-strikes-ukraine-grain-port-after-pulling-out-export-deal-2023-07-18/

KYIV, July 18 (Reuters) - Russia struck Ukrainian ports a day after pulling out of a U.N.-backed deal for safe Black Sea grain exports, and Moscow and Kyiv gave vastly different accounts of fighting in northeastern Ukraine on Tuesday.

Russia said it hit fuel storage in Odesa and a plant making seaborne drones there, as part of "mass revenge strikes" for attacks by Ukraine that knocked out its road bridge to the occupied Crimean Peninsula.

Shortly after the bridge was hit on Monday, Moscow withdrew from the year-old grain agreement, a move the United Nations said risked creating hunger around the world.

See, that’s what you get for poking the bear, eh? If only Ukraine would just lie down and take it.

I've always said.. war is war. Nothing good comes from it.

Putin started a war and no good is coming of it.

It's going to last for years and destroy the country and a generation of youth.

sent the drone anyway. War. Given how quickly the bridge was put back in service, seems likely the goals are political and far more complex than just damaging it.

Russia says it could return to the grain deal, but only if its demands are met for rules to be eased for its own exports of food and fertiliser. Western countries call that an attempt to use leverage over food supplies to force a weakening in financial sanctions, which already allow Russia to sell food.

Ukraine would predict this also.

and grain deal was already expiring before bridge sabotage by the Ukrainian army and citizen resistance fighting force.

Putin is dead--he just doesn't know it yet.

Why?
It's state owned and only allowed to print what the Kremlin says it can, just like in the old Soviet days.

Russia has been bombing Odesa prior to the bridge being bombed? And that the food deal was set to expire anyway, and that Russia was complaining about the grain deal being something they didn't want to do anymore?

Africa is going to hurt, but that's what Putin wants. He couldn't go to that Bric summit because Africa asked him not to attend, because they would have to capture him and turn him over to the ICC, what with him being a wanted war criminal. So, he's no wounded hero.

Russia should withdraw from all of Ukraine. Putin's Special Military Action is a bust.
