You've seen the social media postings of Trump saying that phrase right? Has something to do with his current legal problems, right?

Here's the scoop.

Trump appeared on the Limbaugh Show on October 9, 2020 and here is the full quote:

“Iran knows that they have been put on notice. If you fuck around with us, if you do something bad to us, we are going do things to you that have never been done before”

Some people might not care... but that's the source and the context of the comment.

And YES, Trump re-tweeted (re-truthed) someone who posted that recently.

1. Phrase itself is actually older ... at LEAST 2016.

There's a song by a hip-hop artist called Jhené Aiko who used the phrase in a 2016 recording called 'B's and H's'.
