It's now 2:00 AM, Friday, July 21 and I just ate a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's "Cherry Garcia" ice cream!!
And later today I'm planting 100 periwinkle plants.
Two days ago Sweet Thing and I were walking down our road and encountered three spotted fawns about 1/4 mile from our place.
The Andromeda Galaxy is high in the east and Jupiter just broke the eastern horizon.

followed a few minutes later by a magnificent buck! With very handsome antlers.
All I wanted to do was run down the hill to pet them but they wouldnt have stuck around. So I stayed up on our deck in silence and just watched - ENTHRALLED!!!
Just totally BEYOND thrilling!!!

I'm heading out soon for some lower back physio. When I return after lunch I'll spend time looking sexy for my wife, ironing and laundry.

(13,913 posts)Yummm...yes & the earth is still spinning on its axis. I'm trying to tune out of the news as much as i can so i can focus on my day to day responsibilities. Lookong fwd to spending my w/e @the inlaws' beauitful ranch & see their lovely expansive garden for more tuning out.
