It makes me sick to think about how many resources we have to spend on Trump

Years of investigations and the prosecutions... Its probably in the billions of dollars by now.

What a drain on our country he has been.

will read any response to their actions as a positive validation of their relevance. Good attention, bad attention, doesn't matter, as long as they receive the attention they'll continue believing their little tantrums are righteous.

The US is the most important democracy in the history of the world.
It is the oldest surviving democracy in existence.

What we are going through is not really about Trump at all.

It is about the fact that ruthless sociopaths funded by foreign governments
and global oligarchs are trying to destroy the US.

It was bound to happen sooner or later.

This time in history is when we either stand up and fight like hell.
Or lose our democracy.

He'd be nothing without those who created him. He'd be the same old depraved, Doonesbury-material joke and no doubt fighting off more bankruptcies. They did at his request, of course, eagerly lapping up his hatemongering, demonization, and grievance swilling. They wanted to.

They cheered all his treasonous promises and crimes against humanity and demanded more, participated defiantly in a Republican holocaust that killed over a million and a quarter Americans, and are passionate in their demands for him to fulfill his promises to them by imprisoning Democratic opponents and overthrowing the government.

WHAT THEY'VE BECOME is what we're fighting, and if it broke us to save our nation and our futures from them we'd have to do it. Over a million Americans have already died in their first holocaust. And in strict monetary terms, stopping them is investment with huge paybacks over the coming years. Dictatorships mean struggling nations with oppressed, impoverished populations -- oh, and inevitably and always, persecuted minorities to keep what they've become satisfied and their anger diverted away from the leader.

The trials are the very least of the costs he's given us. His tax breaks to the rich make his trial costs small change.

Buck up. He's going down in huge flames.
