5. It was about Oppenheimer's moral dilemma and possible destruction of Earth, not waving the flag

Christopher Nolan made the movie to put us in the mind of Oppenheimer and how horrified he was with his own creation. At first Oppenheimer felt it needed to be made to beat the Nazi's, as them getting the bomb would have been horrifying. That was the right call. The ending of the movie summed everything up. By creating the bomb, they were possibly creating something that would eventually lead to the end of the world, if humans weren't careful. It was by far the biggest moral dilemma in the entire history of mankind and remains so.
