1. I remember the New Coke introduction

I was working for one of their advertising agencies at the time and our employees were among the first nationwide to taste it.

We all disliked it.

And we all had the same thought: "why?"

what did they do to change it?

At the time Pepsi was taking market share from Coke with its Pepsi challenge ads. But NewCoke was bland. Ppl didn't like it. So they went back and made 'Classic' again.

...the stylized "X" used by the X Window System (familiar to any Mac owners using Unix software). It predates "Twitter/X" by decades.
